Kmart #7470 - Hummelstown, PA

Today, we'll be taking a look at the Kmart in Hummelstown, PA. The store opened in 1994 and was fairly large at 108,000 sq. feet. The store was closed in early 2019. As of September 2020, all signage (minus the pharmacy) is still intact, and it still looks very nice! The store reminds me of Bear, DE in many ways. This location was originally located at 583 Main Street in Hummelstown, which is right across the street.

Kmart #4840 - Reading, PA

Today we have another '90's Kmart store, this time in Reading, Pennsylvania. The original Reading Kmart opened in 1976 and was located in the former W. T. Grant store at 3215 Fifth Street Highway. In 1992, the store was relocated to a new location at 3045 Fifth Street Highway. The replacement store was relatively large at approx. 100,000 sq. feet. The store closed in 2016 and was oddly repainted gray recently.
