Kmart Forever

It's hard to believe it, but it's been a whole year since the permanent closure of the Elizabethtown Kmart. Here are some pictures from my most recent visit (November 22). This was always a really nice store and it was a shame to see it go. It also had an updated Little Caesars Pizza Station and a drive-thru pharmacy. As indicated by the property brochure , the building will likely be subdivided into three spaces in the future. Kmart #3963, located at 1605 S. Market Street in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania opened in 1993 as the relocation of a Kmart originally operated a store in Elizabethtown located at 1278 S. Market Street, which opened in 1982 and is now a Giant Food store. That site is now occupied by Giant-Carlisle. This store closed on December 1, 2019.
