SEARS HOME APPLIANCE SHOWROOM #4651 Opened: 2013 Closed: 2018 Address: 223 Shoemaker Rd Photographed: April 2022 So back in the early 2010s, Sears wanted to replace all their closing full-line stores with smaller-format Hometown, Home Appliance Showroom, Outlet, etc. stores. One of these places where Sears did this was Pottstown where the closing Sears #2484 at Coventry Mall closed in 2012. In April 2013, a smaller Sears Home Appliance Showroom opened up the street. The Home Appliance Showroom lasted for barely five years, closing on April 23, 2018.
