Sears #1224 - Harrisburg, PA (The Last Day)

As you may remember from September, Sears announced that their Harrisburg location, store #1224, would be closing on November 14. I visited the store on November 14 for the last time. My photos are below.

The irony in these signs is remarkable 😂

Kmart #7725 - Rehoboth Beach, DE (July 2021 Update)

Rehoboth Beach's former Kmart is set to become Sussex County's first Aldi supermarket. Construction started in May, with the store planned to open later this year.

Similar to Rehoboth Beach's Sears Hometown, I have no idea of when this one opened. What I do know is that its original location was formerly an A&P and Thriftway. It relocated to its current location in the mid-2010s, leaving the older store to become ReStore. As of July 2021, this is one of two operating Sears Hometown stores in Delaware (the other is in Seaford).
