Kmart Forever

As you may remember from September, Sears announced that their Harrisburg location, store #1224, would be closing on November 14. I visited the store on November 14 for the last time. My photos are below. The irony in these signs is remarkable 😂 The auto center has been closed for a year or two now

Rehoboth Beach's former Kmart is set to become Sussex County's first Aldi supermarket . SEARS HOMETOWN #3463 Opened:  Mid-2010s Address:   600 N. Broad St Photographed:  July 2021 Similar to Rehoboth Beach's Sears Hometown, I have no idea of when this one opened. What I do know is that its original location was formerly an A&P and Thriftway. It relocated to its current location in the mid-2010s, leaving the older store to become ReStore. As of July 2021, this is one of two operating Sears Hometown stores in Delaware (the other is in Seaford). Original location, in the same shopping center.
