For our 2021 Holiday post, which could quite possibly be our last, we've got the last Sears within an hour of my residence, which is also one of the few "newer" Sears stores.

Sears at the Dover Mall (1365 N Dupont Hwy) in Dover, Delaware opened in 1982 as one of the one-story mall's original anchors. It was announced for closure in May 2018, closing for the final time in August of that same year. It later served as a Spirit Halloween store in Fall 2021.

Kmart's second York store, an 89,000 sq. ft. former Grant's, opened on September 8, 1976. However, the 1994 opening of a new walmart just a mile away must've hurt this store, as it closed in 2003 and was demolished in the mid-2000s.

While the original structure was demolished, this is the part of the center where Kmart once stood.
