Kmart's second York store, an 89,000 sq. ft. former Grant's, opened on September 8, 1976. However, the 1994 opening of a new walmart just a mile away must've hurt this store, as it closed in 2003 and was demolished in the mid-2000s.

While the original structure was demolished, this is the part of the center where Kmart once stood.
